Closures due to construction work for the Bocholt funfair

As early as the middle of next week, Berliner Platz and the car park in front of Mariengymnasium will be closed. The reason for this is the early start of construction for this year's Bocholt funfair.

The car park in front of the Mariengymnasium will already be inaccessible from Wednesday, 4 October, because the construction work for the Schumacherstand XXL is starting. The Schumacherstand XXL will host various funfair parties, live acts and also the senior citizens' afternoon of the Volksbank Bocholt. Berliner Platz will be completely closed from 6 a.m. on Thursday, 5 October for the purpose of setting up some of the large rides. Berliner Platz will also be closed on Sunday, 1 October 2023 for technical preparations for the funfair and for measuring the stands of the rides.

All the above-mentioned closures will be lifted again on Wednesday, 18 October around midday, as the dismantling and cleaning work for this year's funfair will then be completed.
