Singing Christmas carols together on Neutorplatz

On Saturday, 16 December, Neutorplatz in front of the Stadtsparkasse will become a festive meeting place. In the style of the former "Christmas carol refresher seminar" organised by the Pepperoni stage, the Bocholt Community Foundation is presenting the event "Bocholt sings in Advent!", at which the people of Bocholt can immerse themselves in the pre-Christmas atmosphere of Advent together.

In cooperation with Stadtmarketing Bocholt (organisation), the Bocholt-Isselburg Music School (programme) and with the financial support of Stadtsparkasse Bocholt, the event promises a musical journey through Advent with a varied programme for the whole family.

The joint Christmas carol singing will take place from 17:30 to 20:00 on Neutorplatz and offers a varied programme for all visitors. Various choirs and bands will perform on a stage in front of the Stadtsparkasse, creating a festive atmosphere. LED screens on both sides of the stage will display the lyrics so that everyone can sing along. Further musical highlights await visitors with a brass quintet, a trombone quartet, a clarinet quartet and the youth wind orchestra of the Bocholt-Isselburg music school.

An additional bar, run by the experienced operators of the mulled wine hut opposite Café Extrablatt, will provide visitors with mulled wine, eggnog and children's punch.

"Bocholt sings in Advent!" promises a festive event for the whole family, where visitors can share the anticipation of Christmas together. The organisers cordially invite you to take part in this atmospheric evening and enjoy the pre-Christmas atmosphere.
