Bocholt Christmas market from 23 November to 20 December

For the 17th time, the Christmas market in Bocholt will take place in front of the beautiful backdrop of the historic town hall with its illuminated Advent calendar on the market square and in Neustraße, the beginning of Nordstraße and Neutorplatz. Mayor Thomas Kerkhoff, the Wine Queen Sabrina I and Ludger Dieckhues from City Marketing will officially open the calendar on Thursday, 23 November at 5.00 pm. You can experience the Christmas stall magic in the city centre until 20 December. The Christmas market will be closed on Boxing Sunday, 26 November.

The showmen Kevin Traber, August Schneider and Menzi Fischer - all active at the Bocholt funfair - set up the mulled wine stalls specially made for the Bocholt Christmas market. The other Christmas market participants create a cosy atmosphere with their festively decorated huts and great selection of products. "Together with a number of local suppliers, we have once again put together quite a lot," explains Markus Kock, who is once again organising the Christmas market this year together with Managing Director Ludger Dieckhues and city marketing employee Tim Becker. The Christmas market is open daily from 12 noon.

The pre-Christmas atmosphere is rounded off by the extensive and intricate Christmas lighting that has been in place for several years now, as well as large snow crystals with LED lighting, illuminated groups of animals and many Christmas trees with lights and lights throughout the city centre.

The weekly market will take place for four weeks from 21 November to 22 December on Gasthausplatz and in Osterstraße. It is not possible to relocate the market to Liebfrauenplatz due to the city garden construction site. The evening market will take place on St.-Georg-Platz during this time.
