Immediate programme city centre occupies vacant shop premises
11 shop premises occupied in Bocholt
"Sofa4you", "Cartoon Zero", "MyKraut", "Second Trend", "Alma-Küchen" and other businesses in the Bocholt city centre have one thing in common: the business operators have received support from the state of North Rhine-Westphalia so that they do not have to pay too high running (rental) costs in the initial phase of setting up and opening a business, but can first test and assess the market on site by means of a subsidised rent. In Bocholt, 11 traders have benefited from the subsidies since they were granted.
47,000 euros still available in Bocholt
47,000 euros are still available in Bocholt and can be called up accordingly. The prerequisite for this is that the business is a start-up (trade, services, gastronomy, pop-up), that a vacant shop in the city centre is used, that the property owner agrees to waive part of his rent (30% of the last cold rent).
Applications are worthwhile
The funding programme expires at the end of 2023, the funds should be claimed by the end of October. Depending on the size of the shop, another four to five contracts are possible from the so-called "Verfügungsfonds Anmietung". The maximum term of two years can no longer be exhausted at this point, but even for a few months the funding is worthwhile, because: The application period for interested parties is short in Bocholt, as the legally secured sample tenancy agreements enable the request to be processed quickly. And particularly interesting: In the end, the tenant as a start-up pays only 20% of the last cold rent!
