Exciting children's reading: Alice Pantermüller reads in the city library
Launch of the children's reading programme in the anniversary year // Wednesday, 6 March at 4 p.m.
To mark the 100th anniversary of the city library, bestselling author Alice Pantermüller will be presenting her latest children's books from the series "My Lotta Life" and "The Extraordinary Cases of Florentine Blix" as part of a reading tour at Bocholt City Library.
On 6 March, the children's and youth library's anniversary reading programme starts with an author who is as well-known as she is popular. Alice Pantermüller is coming to Bocholt City Library with her bestsellers "Lotta-Leben" and "Florentine Blix" for a children's reading programme.
Experience children's author "live"
The audience can expect a varied live reading, because this time the funny Lotta doesn't have it easy at all: her grandma is in a knitting frenzy and her brother is annoying with his skateboard. Good thing there's the gang "The Wild Rabbits". In Alice Pantermüller's second children's book series, "Florentine Blix", there is another exciting and unusual criminal case to solve. After all, Florentine specialises in particularly unusual cases.
The event not only promises to provide an insight into the exciting adventures of "Lotta" and "Florentine", but also offers an opportunity for young readers to get to know the author personally and ask questions about her work.
Celebrating the anniversary year with all readers
Claudia Alders, Head of the Children's and Youth Library, is particularly looking forward to welcoming Alice Pantermüller to Bocholt for the anniversary year after the successful school class readings last year: "It will certainly be another varied and very entertaining event for children and adults. We are very much looking forward to celebrating our library anniversary together with Alice Pantermüller and many fans of her books."
The event on 6 March starts at 4 pm. The reading will take place in the Futura event room in the media centre, Hindenburgstr. 5, 46395 Bocholt. Admission is 5 euros per person. Tickets are available from the city library.
