City library takes a Christmas break

Bocholt City Library will close this year from 23 December 2024 to 1 January 2025 inclusive, during which time the external return service and contact by email or telephone will also be unavailable. The branch in Suderwick will also be closed during this period.

In order to make the Christmas break as smooth as possible for all users, all loan periods that fall within this period will be automatically extended until 2 January 2025. Users can check their current loan periods at any time via the library app "MobilOPAC" or the customer account on the city library website ( https://stadtbibliothek.bocholt.de ).

"For anyone who still wants to stock up on books, films or other media for the holidays, the library is open as usual until 21 December", invites Melanie Tenhumberg from the city library.

Even during the closure period, the digital eLibrary "muensterload" can still be used without restriction for e-books with a valid library card. Expired library cards can be renewed online.
