Corporate adventure: Little explorers discover the city administration
Campaign organised by the "Alliances for Families" in Bocholt and Rhede // Pupils get to know the mayor's office
Ten young explorers have now had the opportunity to take an unusual look behind the scenes of Bocholt's city administration. The children visited Bocholt's city administration for the "Abenteuer Unternehmen" project.
The "Corporate Adventure" project entered its second round! Organised by the "Alliances for Families" of the cities of Bocholt and Rhede, up to 30 different companies offered the young participants aged 5 to 18 years an exciting look behind the scenes. Ten children aged 6 to 11 had the unique opportunity to explore the administration of the city of Bocholt.
The little adventurers started their discovery tour with an exciting scavenger hunt through the administration. The aim was to solve various tasks and familiarise themselves with the different business areas of the "Office of the Mayor" department. Not only did they learn how the administration works in a fun way, they were also able to put their teamwork skills to the test.
A special highlight was the meeting with Mayor Thomas Kerkhoff. The children took the opportunity to ask him lots of questions about his activities and the mayor's office in Bocholt. He patiently answered all the questions and gave the curious young researchers an insight into his exciting everyday life.
At the end of the day, all participants received a well-deserved certificate and a small treasure - which was of course hidden in the department's rooms and had to be found.
