Youth welfare office parents' council elected for the coming kindergarten year
A new ten-member Youth Welfare Office Parents' Advisory Board (JAEB) has now been elected. The JAEB sees itself as a mouthpiece between the youth welfare office and parents in all of Bocholt's childcare centres. In addition to the Youth Welfare Office, the JAEB also liaises between the providers, such as churches and clubs, and the parents.
The parents' councils of the 40 daycare centres in Bocholt and representatives from the daycare sector were invited to elect the youth welfare office parents' council for the 2023/24 kindergarten year. 25 parent councils from 17 daycare centres and one delegate for the daycare sector accepted the invitation and were informed by the Youth, Family, School and Sport Department about the tasks and structures of the Youth Welfare Office Parent Council.
Ten participants declared their willingness to become involved in the Youth Welfare Council. The JAEB consists of: Chairman Jan Ingenfeld, Karsten van Gelder (deputy). Delegates to the state parents' council: Karoline Gens (deputy: Nele Geke), advisory member of the youth welfare committee Jan Ingenfeld (deputy: Christina Jagsch). The advisory members are Melanie Pavlova, Anne Heßling, Ines Renzel, Yvonne Drießen and Marcel Benning.
