Popular road safety day this year on the market square
Together with the Music School Festival // Hands-on activities and raffle
This weekend there will once again be the popular Road Safety Day. After the event took place last year at the Bocholt textile mill, this year the Road Safety Day is moving back to the city centre - under the Skyliner on the market square in front of the Historic Town Hall.
This year, too, there will be a colourful hands-on programme for schoolchildren. Children can take part in Ines Hansen's join-in theatre, watch the programme on stage or try their hand at the Dekra driving simulator.
In addition, the traffic accident prevention team of the district police will be on site with an information stand. "This year, the Road Safety Day is linked to the programme of the Music School Festival, which also takes place on the market square," says Ludger Thesing from the City of Bocholt. So a visit to the city centre is worthwhile for families several times over.
Raffle at around 4.30 p.m.
This year, the big raffle will take place around 4.30 pm in front of the stage on the market square. Once again, there are many great prizes to be won by the pupils.
