A football pitch is being built in the Barlo district
New leisure activities for children and young people on "Große Allee"
A new small pitch for playing football, a soccer pitch, is currently being built in the Barlo district of Bocholt.
The pitch is being built on "Große Allee" and will enable children and young people to play football and be active outside of club sports. The measure was decided at the end of last year on the basis of a political application by the youth welfare committee.
The new pitch will be directly adjacent to the existing playground on "Große Allee" and will form part of the 9,000 square metre leisure facility. The area already offers recreational areas with seating and will now be further enhanced with the new football pitch. The football pitch with boards and goals measures 20 x 13 metres and cost around 90,000 euros.
With this project, the city of Bocholt is making a further contribution to promoting leisure opportunities for children and young people.
