Final preparations for Bocholt's first health professions fair
First major event at LernWerk // Around 30 companies and institutions present themselves
Bocholt - On Saturday, 24 February, Bocholt will host its first healthcare careers fair. Around 30 companies and institutions will present themselves in the newly opened LernWerk - and provide an insight into over 50 training and study opportunities.
The fair will take place on three floors from 10 am to 2 pm. "Those interested in a career in the healthcare sector will find many opportunities to make contacts and get to know the various professions at our exhibition centre", says Lisa Knuf from the city of Bocholt.
There will also be a series of interesting specialist presentations, including a talk on the job description of a medical assistant, the benefits of working in outpatient care and digital innovations in geriatric care. In addition to the presentations, the supporting programme also includes an application portfolio check and a food truck.
The event is aimed at school pupils in years 8 to 13, people returning to work and people in the orientation phase.

About the BOHRIS doctors' network
The fair is a joint event organised by the city of Bocholt and the BOHRIS doctors' network. The BOHRIS doctors' network acts as a central authority and creates an important platform for the co-operative professional practice of registered doctors in Bocholt, Rhede and Isselburg.
In the meantime, 85 general practitioners and specialists feel part of the network and benefit from collegial, interdisciplinary cooperation and comprehensive information management.
The common goal of the BOHRIS doctors' network with the three municipalities is to secure outpatient care for citizens, promote the next generation of doctors in rural areas and strengthen the profession of medical assistants.
