Double the joy: in addition to information about healthcare professions, luck in the lottery pot

City of Bocholt and BOHRIS doctors' network look back on successful 2nd health professions fair

Following the successful 2nd Bocholt Health Professions Fair on 15 February in the Lernwerk, the main prizes from the competition have now been handed over. Mika Dimke, Louis Terhuf, Selin Özdemir and Tanja Theissen are delighted with vouchers from local retailers.

Background: All of the trade fair exhibitors had worked hard to come up with a variety of activities for the career exploration trail. It was worth taking part: each successful participation was rewarded with a stamp on the visitor pass. Anyone who collected six stamps was entered into a prize draw.

The lucky main winners Mika Dimke (50 euro arcade voucher), Louis Terhuf (100 euro Rose Bikes), Selin Özdemir (100 euro arcade voucher) and Tanja Theissen (50 euro arcade voucher) received their prizes in person and took the opportunity to talk to the organisers of the fair, Antje Schlütter (care coordinator), Lisa Knuf (mayor's office) and Sarah Underberg (network manager of the medical network BOHRIS e.V.). Ten other winners can look forward to a voucher worth 5 euros. They will be notified by post.

The winners were delighted with the careers fair and praised the variety of offers and the creative ideas of the exhibitors. They reported "good discussions" and a "positive response": "The attractiveness of the healthcare sector was tangible. The fair provided an important platform to find out about the various job profiles and to establish direct contact with the care, medical and therapy facilities", was the tenor.

The organisers emphasise that the healthcare professions fair supports career orientation and helps to attract specialists in the healthcare sector. "There will definitely be a repeat", says Lisa Knuf from the city of Bocholt.
