City of Bocholt introduces standardised service times
Change from 1 June 2024 // Improvements for citizen services
The city of Bocholt is announcing a significant change in the organisation of administrative services. From 1 June, new standardised service hours will apply to all municipal specialist units, including the municipal facilities. Only the citizens' office, the recycling centre, the cemetery administration and the city library will continue to have special opening hours.
Monday to Thursday, city services will be accessible from 8 am to 5 pm, while an earlier closing time of 12.30 pm will be introduced on Fridays. These changes are aimed at improving the accessibility and efficiency of municipal services and increasing accessibility for citizens.
Special opening hours apply for the citizens' offices, the recycling centre, the cemetery administration and the municipal library, some of which also include Saturday, in order to continue to offer citizens flexible access options.
Appointment booking necessary
With the exception of the recycling centre and the municipal library, appointments must be made in advance by telephone or e-mail. Citizens who need an appointment for the registry office or the citizens' office can book an appointment directly online via the respective subject pages. The new service times have already been taken into account there. The addresses for this are
