Magnolia blossom in Bocholt

Just in time for the start of spring, many magnolias are in full bloom in Bocholt. There are some magnificent specimens of the plant, which originates from East Asia and America, throughout the city.

There are around 350 different species worldwide, not all of which are already in bloom. The photos on this page show the species Magnolia × soulangeana, also known as tulip magnolia .
