Songwriter WOGER presents his new programme "Mit den Zeiten" in Bocholt.


Since May 2015, the songwriter "WOGER", alias Wolfgang Gerbig, who lives in South Baden, has been singing his own songs on stage. Since then, he has played over 200 concerts in pubs, in halls, at demos, at street festivals, in cafes, in churches and at festivals nationwide. He has already shared the stage with well-known colleagues such as Jan Degenhardt, Manfred Maurenbrecher, Pippo Pollina, Lydie Auvray and many others.

"Mit den Zeiten" is the name of his new current programme. New songs that go with the times. Whether the ever-increasing pluralisation in society, the migration policy that needs to be viewed critically, the ever-increasing right-wing extremism/populism, the situations in war zones, e.g. currently in Ukraine, the social division and above all the environmental policy that does not fight climate change rigorously enough are themes in his songs. But not only political lyrics, also autobiographical songs - e.g. about his childhood in the Ruhr area or about his impressions in the South Baden town of Staufen are included in his programme.
