When internet scammers rob Thelma, a single pensioner, of her entire fortune, the 93-year-old woman wants to sink to the ground out of shame. But then she reads in the newspaper how Tom Cruise is still an action star despite his age. And what he can do, she has been able to do for a long time. With the help of her old friend Ben and his scooter, she sets out to reclaim her money and bring the scammers to justice.

The film series "KINO Bocholt - der besondere Film" has been running since 1977 as a cooperation between the Department of Education and Culture and the Bocholt Kinodrom.
