German-Austrian tragicomedy about a man who plays every role perfectly - except his own... Matthias (Albrecht Schuch) is the founder and director of a successful agency specialising in hiring out people.
Matthias (Albrecht Schuch) is the founder and director of a successful agency that specialises in hiring people. The agency offers a wide range of services from escorting at public events to influencing others. Matthias is an expert at taking on any role asked of him with ease.
But despite his professional success, he feels lost outside of work and unable to feel any real emotion. When his girlfriend Sophia leaves him, Matthias decides to find himself. This search triggers a series of chaotic and absurd events that force him to take a serious look at his life.
The film lasts 107 minutes. The film was directed by Bernhard Wenger.

About the special film programme
The film series "KINO Bocholt - the special film" has existed since 1977 as a cooperation between the Department of Education and Culture and Kinodrom Bocholt. The aim is to present exceptional films - which would otherwise not be shown in Bocholt - to an interested audience of all ages at a favourable price of €7. Selected films are usually shown every 2nd and 4th Tuesday of the month.
