St Martin's concert with the Bokeltsen Brass

The EineWeltKreis Liebfrauen-St. Paul e.V. invites you to a "Martinskonzert" with the brass ensemble "BOKKELTSEN BRASS" on 11.11.2023 at 6.00 pm in St. Paul's Church.

Brass ensembles have evolved from the classical brass section of symphony orchestras. The BOKELTSEN BRASS line-up consists of 4 trumpets, 1-2 horns, 4 trombones and a tuba - occasionally supported by percussion.

In contrast to the mostly widespread (4 to 5-part) trombone choirs, whose sound is appreciated and loved in church halls, for example, the soloistic distribution of the parts and almost chamber music-like arrangements provide opportunities to perform even demanding literature with a special brass sound. The current programme of BOKELTSEN BRASS is very varied and spans a wide range from the classical brass fanfare to well-known melodies from film classics from several decades of the 20th century.

Admission is free.

A donation is requested for the hospital projects of the Missionary Medical Sisters in Ethiopia and Ghana.

After the concert, there will be an invitation to meet and chat over mulled wine and St Martin's buns in St Paul's parish hall.
