Public bike tour with guide
Explore Bocholt and the surrounding area by bike
Guided cycle tours are a wonderful way to explore the region by bike and learn more about its history, culture and beautiful landscape.
The cycle tours cross the border into the western Münsterland and the Dutch Achterhoek. A local guide provides interesting information and stories about the border town of Bocholt.
The tours with your own bike start either at the LWL-Museum Textilwerk or at the car park of the sports club TSV Bocholt. Here, participants gain an insight into the history of Bocholt and the development of the textile town.
From there, you cycle along paved cycle paths and quiet lanes, past meadows, fields, farms and churches that reflect the picturesque landscape of the Münsterland.
After crossing the "green border", the Achterhoek border region is explored on Dutch cycle paths, the" Fietspaden". After a break, the group sets off on the return journey.
