"Kalle Kosmonaut" - The special film
Moving long-term documentary // 6 euros // Kinodrom
This documentary is an invitation to a special cinema visit for parents or grandparents with young people.
The Berlin boy "Kalle" is followed for 10 years and it shows how social inequality can determine a biography.
16-year-old Kalle commits an act that changes his life in a momentous way. His story begins when he is 10 years old. Tests of courage, his first love, friendships, then negotiations, convictions and finally jail. Meanwhile, life goes on for his family on the outside. After his time in prison, he begins to find himself again.

About the special film campaign
The film series "KINO Bocholt - der besondere Film" has existed since 1977 as a cooperation between the Department of Education and Culture and the Kinodrom Bocholt. The aim is to present unusual films - which would otherwise not be shown in Bocholt - to an interested audience of all ages at a reasonable price. As a rule, selected films are shown every 2nd and 4th Tuesday of the month.
