"a voyage" is a poetic sound journey, a moving listening experience & a cinematic classical-guitar-electronica trip. Classical, ethnic music and urban sounds take you from the hustle and bustle of London's Picadilly Circus to the tranquil lake in Provence, to the beach in Sardinia, to the jazz club in New Orleans and to the distant Orient. Short sound snippets or guitar sequences recorded with the microphone are transformed live and in seconds into multi-layered and unique sounds and grooves with the looper. In this way, the musician from the Ruhr area transforms himself into a complex one-man ensemble of classical guitar, percussion and live-recorded or programmed loops, only to be enchanted again a few moments later with just the pure natural sound of the nylon guitar. "a voyage" promises a concert experience beyond the boundaries of ordinary musical pigeonholes.
