JOHNA "Postcards" JOHNA "Postcards" - Between German chanson and pop poetry JOHNA has mastered the sensitive play with emotions. Her songs reveal her musical influences such as Sarah McLachlan, Heather Nova or Jewel without copying them. Gentle tones are combined with strong messages, songs that invite you to reflect or simply have fun and let your emotions dance. Until now, the musician has presented her own compositions exclusively in English. Her first and only German song "Sommertag" can be found on her EP "Mountains" from 2018, but the artistic excursion into her mother tongue was not to remain without consequences. Back then, JOHNA discovered a completely new way of songwriting that would make her compositions even more personal. She gave herself completely to the music, wrote songs and tried out this new facet of her creativity. The result of this journey is "Postcards", JOHNA's first album entirely in German: songs without linguistic filters and with all the more emotion. The singer lets her listeners get a little closer to her.
