... and the choirs sing for you - pop meets gospel

The Tonfabrik and The Original Sinners

LIVE & HAUTNAH takes place on a Sunday and in the hall this time.
Admission is free as usual, the donation jug goes round.

Die Tonfabrik
The mixed choir " Die Tonfabrik" from Bocholt has been in existence since 2018 under the direction of Andreas Lebbing. With almost 25 members, the choir offers a feel-good mix of current pop songs, evergreens and well-known oldies. Whether Mark Forster, Elvis Presley or "Germany is looking for a superstar", the choir sings whatever makes hearts beat faster.

The singers, aged between 25 and 65, sing with passion and good humour. With their performance, their enthusiasm is quickly transferred to the audience - whether on stage in Bocholt or beyond.

At Tonfabrik, everything happens "from the gut" because the best thing about music is not in the notes.

The Original Sinners

The popular Westmünsterland gospel choir "The Original Sinners" has been singing and grooving with its choirmaster Jocky Weinholz for more than a quarter of a century.music as it is known from contemporary church services, concerts and events of the African-American population in the USA, music that penetrates deep into the heart and soul and revitalises the whole body.

Here in the Alte Molkerei, the 14-strong choir, which is usually accompanied by a band, performs in its pure form with its pianist, soloists, tambourine and handclaps as the "Original Sinners Project". From traditional gospel interpretations such as Amazing Grace, to 60s classics such as " To my Fathers house" (Edwin Hawkins Singers) to contemporary "Let go, let God" (Dewayne Woods) and "Music is a voice of God" (Billy Preston) - pure gospel feeling.

There will be plenty of opportunity to clap, groove, sing along and enjoy.
