This is how the study programme works
During the first two semesters, you will study full-time at the Rhine-Waal University of Applied Sciences in Kamp-Lintfort. The focus here is on tasks and requirements related to the topic of e-government. You will also learn the basics of programming, technical computer science, business administration and law.
In the third and fourth semesters, the one-year practical phase takes place at the city of Bocholt. Here you can directly apply your acquired knowledge in practice.
From the fifth semester onwards, you will be back at Rhine-Waal University of Applied Sciences full-time, where you can further deepen your knowledge in elective subjects and projects, among other things. The focus is then on analysing and solving problems in administration.
In the eighth semester, you will complete your studies with a Bachelor's thesis at the City of Bocholt and a scientific colloquium at Rhine-Waal University of Applied Sciences.
Upon successful completion of your studies, you will receive the academic degree "Bachelor of Science". At the same time, you will be qualified for the career bracket 2 of the technical administrative IT service in the state of North Rhine-Westphalia.
