The content of the training is as follows

The three-and-a-half-year training takes place at the waste disposal and service company (ESB) of the city of Bocholt, whereby the vocational school training takes place in the first year at the vocational college Bocholt-West and is then continued at the vocational school in Wesel.

The 1st year of training includes

  • planning and organising work, assessing work results
  • how to assemble and connect electrical equipment
  • measuring and analysing electrical functions and systems, and
  • how electrical systems are installed and commissioned.

The 2nd year of training includes:

  • Installing and configuring IT systems,
  • the maintenance of plants and systems,
  • how controls are configured and programmed, and
  • technical service and operation of systems

The 3rd and 4th years of training comprise:

  • deepening the knowledge gained in the preceding years of training, and
  • the implementation of business processes and quality management in the area of operation

Here you can work after the training

After completing their training, electronics technicians for industrial engineering find employment opportunities:

  • in the assembly, operation or maintenance of operating plant and equipment, as well as
  • in energy distribution, production and process engineering systems.
