How does the ESB's organic waste bin cleaning service work?
After emptying, the organic waste bin is cleaned in a special vehicle with water and an environmentally friendly cleaning agent and then placed upside down with the lid open. Please take the bin back to your property as soon as possible after cleaning.
What do I have to consider?
The best cleaning results are achieved when the bin is used as intended. You should pay particular attention to the following waste:
- Liquids
- Oils and fats
- Cat litter and small animal litter
These substances have no place in the organic waste bin and make it impossible to clean the bin.
What does cleaning cost?
Cleaning your organic waste bin is an additional service that is subject to a charge. You can choose the right option for you from two tariffs(as of 01/01/2025):
