Waste counselling is an important part of environmental and resource protection measures. It serves to inform and support citizens on the correct disposal of waste. The aim is to reduce the amount of waste and to promote the recycling of waste.

Bulky waste exchange

Three to four times a year we offer the bulky waste exchange. At this event, we sell things that are too good to throw away.
In this way, we contribute to reuse and thus to the conservation of resources. And the whole thing is for a good cause: all the proceeds go to charitable institutions in Bocholt.

For school classes
Our offer for school classes is very diverse. It ranges from classroom visits, tours of recycling yards, waste collections to special topics such as "Planet Plastic", paper workshop or tinkering workshop. To find the right offer for your class, please contact us at an early stage. We will be happy to coordinate with you.
For kindergartens
Our offer to kindergartens is very diverse. It ranges from group visits, recycling yard tours, waste collections to waste clown parties. To find the right offer for the group, please contact us at an early stage. We will be happy to coordinate with you.
Visits to the recycling centre
We offer guided tours of recyclable materials for groups, school classes and kindergarten groups. We focus on the individual needs and wishes of the respective visitor groups. Please contact us if you are interested. Due to the high number of visitors during regular operations on Fridays and Saturdays, tours of the recycling centre are only possible on request from Mondays to Thursdays.
Tinkering workshop
During the holidays as a holiday activity by appointment only. For school classes on request.
Information stand in the city centre
Between spring and autumn, we offer the opportunity to inform yourself about changing topics at our information stand on St. George's Square. We announce the dates in the local media.
Waste collections
Every spring, we organise a city-wide waste collection to which all groups, associations, neighbourhoods and individuals are cordially invited. In addition, we equip groups with necessary material throughout the year and take care of the collection of the collected waste.
Information materials
We have information material on various key topics. If required, we will put together suitable information for you. The waste calendar is an important part of this. It is available in classic print form as well as in digital and mobile versions.
