New dates for guided bike tours

The Tourist-Info Bocholt is pleased to announce new dates for the popular cycle tours! The new cycle tours with experienced guide Reinhold Lensing will take you to the Münsterland and the Dutch border region. These routes not only offer the opportunity to enjoy the beautiful landscape, but also provide exciting insights into the history and culture of our region.

We invite all cycling enthusiasts and nature lovers to join us and explore the varied surroundings of Bocholt. The tours are suitable for all age groups and offer exciting experiences for beginners and experienced cyclists alike.

"We are very pleased to have a large selection of interesting and fascinating cycle tours on offer. Cycling guide Reinhold Lensing leads participants along selected cycle paths through the beautiful border region between Münsterland and the Dutch Achterhoek. There are also exciting stories to tell at historical and interesting places", adds Rita Möllmann from the Bocholt Tourist Information Centre.

Information on the individual cycle tours:

26 April 2025:
The tour leads to the open garden day in the picturesque Picker perennial and show garden in Weseke. An experience for all garden lovers!
(plus €3.00 entrance fee for the open garden day + contribution towards the cost of coffee and cake)

24 May 2025:
As part of the "80 Years of Liberation" focus, the tour will take you to points in the region that are steeped in history. It is an excellent opportunity to learn more about local history and reflect on the significance of these events.

28 June 2025:
Discover new Pättkes through the Dutch Achterhoek. The tour promises a varied route through the idyllic landscape and offers numerous opportunities to experience nature up close.

30 August 2025:
This summer tour in the Achterhoek invites you to enjoy the warm months to the full. The beauty of the region enchants cyclists on specially selected routes, especially at this time of year.

27 September 2025:
This tour combines well-known and new Pättkes in the region. Ideal for anyone who wants to explore both the familiar and the unknown sides of the Achterhoek.

Participation is at your own risk, wearing a cycle helmet is recommended. There is a stop for refreshments at cost price on every cycle tour. Drinks and snacks can be brought along and consumed en route.
