On 14 March, the special film will be shown again. This time you can attend the drama "Notre-Dame in Flames" at 8 pm in the Kinodrom Bocholt.
Tickets are available at the Kinodrom and online for €6.00.
In Notre-Dame in Flames, hit director Jean-Jacques Annaud meticulously traces the events of April 2019, when the famous cathedral in Paris had to survive the biggest fire in its history. His gripping reconstruction depicts the fatal coincidences and inconceivable failures that led to the catastrophe - but above all the risky, heroic rescue of Notre-Dame and its relics by men and women who had to put their lives on the line to do so.
The Bocholt fire brigade takes advantage of the cinema evening and invites the full-time and voluntary forces to this cinema event as a thank you for the work they have done. At the same time, visitors will have the opportunity to find out more about the work of the fire and rescue services at an information stand. Vehicles of the Bocholt fire brigade will also be set up in the outdoor area.
About the special film campaign
The film series "KINO Bocholt - the special film" has been taking place since 1977. On the initiative of the Department of Culture and Education of the City of Bocholt, selected special films are usually shown every 2nd and 4th Tuesday of the month in cooperation with the Kinodrom Bocholt.
The aim is to present exceptional films - which would otherwise not be shown in the cinemas of Bocholt - to an interested audience of any age.
