Staged - Living History in the Bocholt textile factory workers' centre
"Children, kitchen, cabbage" - Everyday life in a workers' house around 1910 | every 2nd Sunday/month
Änne doesn't have it easy: family, household, garden and then wage labour in the factory - the wife of a weaver had to master many tasks around 1910. But Änne still had it good. Because her husband worked in the nearby factory, the family had a house. The family is never alone - sometimes the factory owner comes to visit, sometimes a day labourer knocks looking for a place to sleep. Participants in this programme immerse themselves in the everyday life of a working-class family and support Änne in her daily chores.
