Epilepsy support group
for affected people and their relatives
It all starts with fainting when you experience a seizure for the first time. But after the faint, the everyday handling of acute seizures begins. Both those affected and their relatives have to learn how to live with the illness, which is an ongoing process that has to be adapted to constantly changing needs.
It is sometimes difficult to decide which path is right for you. Experiences from the group can offer suggestions and support.
The meetings focus on experiences with medication and treatment methods, dealing with the authorities, rehabilitation options and personal experiences of limits, powerlessness and fear.
Fee: €2.50 per meeting
