for affected people and their relatives
In the beginning, there is fainting when one experiences a seizure disorder for the first time. But after the faintness, the everyday handling of acute seizures begins. Living with the disease has to be learned both for those affected and for their relatives, which like an ongoing process has to be adapted again and again to the ever-changing needs.
Sometimes it is difficult to decide which path is right for you. Experiences from the group can offer suggestions and support.
The meetings are about experiences in medication and treatment methods, dealing with authorities, possibilities of rehabilitation as well as your own experiences of limits, powerlessness and fear.
