Excursion to the Bocholter Aa Lake
Wild herbs are not only real health boosters, but also offer a variety of intense flavours that are wonderfully effective in the kitchen. If you would like to find out more about the diversity and unique flavour of these plants, you are cordially invited to an exciting wild herb excursion at Bocholter Aa-See.
On Friday, 20 June 2025, from 3 to 5 pm, you will have the opportunity to immerse yourself in the world of wild herbs together with an experienced herb expert. We will discover some of the best-known wild herbs and learn how to recognise them safely. Many herbs are familiar to us at first glance, but some can easily be confused with other plants - similar to mushrooms, where the risk of confusion is high.
"The aim of the excursion is to show participants how to recognise wild herbs, what they can do for our health and how they can be used for culinary purposes", explains the herb expert.
The event is aimed at all age groups and is suitable for families with children as well as individuals. Everyone is welcome to take part in this exciting journey of discovery.
