The family education centres and the Kreisbildungswerk in the district of Borken are joining the initiative "Fair Week 2023" in cooperation with the "Creation Care" department of the Episcopal Vicariate General.
The effects of the climate catastrophe have long since led to a global crisis that affects people in the Global South the most. During the Fair Weeks, we want to shed light on how the climate crisis affects the living and working conditions of producers and what contribution Fair Trade makes to the implementation of climate justice. We want to give people the impetus to critically examine their own (consumer) behaviour and to discover and try out alternative options for action.
The next Fair Week will take place from 15 to 29 September 2023.
Participation in all events (fee 60,- € instead of 70,- €) gives the opportunity to acquire a certificate. The award ceremony will take place on 31.10. at 6 pm in the Family Education Centre.
