BOHJazz concert
The trio of jazz guitarist Christian Hassenstein plays every two months in the Appendix, the extension of the LernWerk at Industriestr. 1 in 46395 Bocholt. The guest soloist for this concert is jazz trumpeter Gerard Kleijn. The concert starts at 8 pm, admission is free. You are cordially invited to this extraordinary evening of inspiring sounds. Enjoy the special dynamics of this exciting musical combination of different musicians. The guest will be joined by Christian Hassenstein on guitar, Ruud Ouwehand on bass and Franc auf dem Brinke on drums.

The soloist, Gerard Kleijn, is a Dutch jazz trumpeter and composer.
He studied jazz trumpet in Hilversum, Rotterdam and later in New York. He has not only enjoyed great success with his music throughout Europe, but also internationally. He has already played in Syria, Mexico, Russia and the United States. Early on, he led his own groups and recorded 12 CDs of his own compositions as (co-)bandleader.
Gerard Kleijn is a regular accompanist for ensembles and big bands. He is also a dedicated trumpet teacher, workshop leader and conductor of several big bands.
