How women secure their pension provision privately

Many women are faced with the question of how they can secure their financial future in old age. Choosing suitable forms of investment is not always easy. A lecture on Tuesday, 1 April 2025, at 7 p.m. will provide an overview of various options for private pension provision.

Speaker Barbara Rück from the NRW consumer advice centre will explain clearly which models are suitable for an additional pension. Topics include bank savings plans, fund savings plans with ETFs and insurance policies. The controversial Riester subsidy is also examined: For whom is it still worthwhile, and how can existing contracts be utilised?

State-subsidised models are also presented, including company pension schemes via the employer and the Rürup pension.
