On Tuesday, 11 March, author Sabine Thiesler will be a guest at Bocholt City Library. She will be reading from her latest thriller entitled "Farewell, Sister", which is about a series of cold-blooded murders of lovers that takes Tuscan chief inspector Neri to the limits of his investigation. Tickets can be purchased in advance via the homepage and at the Adult Education Centre office as well as in the library. There will also be a box office.

When the young tourist couple Anne and Michael are cruelly murdered one night in the idyllic hills of Tuscany, Commissario Neri is horrified. Is there another murderer of lovers on the loose, like the Monster of Florence? In fact, the killer strikes again shortly afterwards. Fortunately, Neri has the active support of his young colleague Romina Roselli in his investigations. A clue finally leads the two of them to a lonely convent.

Master of suspense literature
Sabine Thiesler, born and raised in Berlin, studied German and theatre studies. She worked for several years as an actress on television and on stage and has also successfully written theatre plays and numerous screenplays (including "The House on the Wad", "The Murderer and His Child", "Stich ins Herz" and several episodes for the series Tatort and Polizeiruf 110). Her debut novel "The Child Collector" was a sensational success, and all her other thrillers are regularly on the current bestseller lists.

The event will take place on 11 March at the Bocholt City Library at 7:30 pm. Admission begins at 7 pm. The reading is supported by the Association of Friends and Sponsors of the Bocholt-Rhede-Isselburg Adult Education Centre, the City Library and JUNGE UNI in Bocholt e.V..
