It is an honour for Iman when he is appointed investigating judge at the Revolutionary Court in Tehran. His wife Najmeh is also delighted with the opportunities that are now open to the family. A larger flat, a room of their own for their two daughters Rezvan and Sana. But the promotion also brings dangers. Especially at a time when people in Iran are taking to the streets to protest against the unjust state. Iman is given a weapon to defend himself and his family. While Iman suffers more and more from his new position and develops paranoia, Rezvan and Sana are gradually infected by the revolutionary mood in the country. They not only get into a fight with their mother, but also increasingly question the misogynistic system. And one day, their father's gun disappears without a trace....

The film lasts 167 minutes.

The film was directed by Mohammad Rasoulof
