BOHJazz concert

The trio of jazz guitarist Christian Hassenstein performs every two months at the LernWerk Bocholt in Industriestraße 1, 46395 Bocholt. The guest soloist at this concert will be Joachim Lenhardt on saxophone. The concert starts at 20:00, admission is free. Visitors can look forward to extraordinary sounds and the special dynamics of this exciting musical combination.

Joachim Lernhardt, born in Esslingen in 1983, completed his studies at the Nuremberg University of Music under Prof Klaus Graf and Prof Hubert Winter. He graduated with a diploma in jazz saxophone in 2008, followed by a masterclass diploma in 2010.

As co-initiator and long-standing board member of the Nuremberg musicians' network "Metropolmusik e.V.", he played a formative role in promoting the regional jazz scene. In 2013, he received the Nuremberg Scholarship of the Culture Prize for this commitment.

Lernhardt regularly works with renowned musicians and ensembles, including Rebecca Trescher Tentett, Subway Jazz Orchestra, Glenn Miller Orchestra, Yara Linss, Peter Fulda, The Big Leppinski, Ensemble Kontraste, Werner Heider, Thilo Wolf, the Sunday Night Orchestra* and the *Nürnberger Symphoniker. He is also involved in radio and CD productions.

He currently lives and works as a freelance musician, teacher and web designer in Cologne.
