Waltraud Willing

I am Waltraud Willing and have been working in the Spork neighbourhood since 2014. In spring 2021, the Spork neighbourhood was expanded to include the districts of Hemden and Holtwick. My office is located in the former primary school in Spork, Glockenstraße 6a. Over the years, we have developed the health centre in the LUDGERUSHOF with a lot of commitment in cooperation with the Ostermann family, the Spork Aktiv association, the city of Bocholt and L-i-A e.V., with many offers for the people in the rural area.

I am happy about the exchange and the encounter with young and old in the LUDGERUSHOF. New offers and ideas can be developed and implemented. We get people moving e.g. through sports in "slipper proximity", through further health offers and create space for meeting and participation.

I love my work because it is so diverse. Advice, information, coordination of volunteers, networking with institutions, associations and the people in the neighbourhood are always new challenges for me.
