Traffic: Construction site on Herzogstraße "migrates

Construction work on the sidewalks and bike paths to be renewed along Herzostraße is progressing well. The first part of the measure between Markgrafenstrasse and the junction with Dinxperloer Strasse has been completed. The construction area will be relocated between the Markgrafenstraße and Ritterstraße junctions from Tuesday.

The one-way street system that has already proven itself in the previous construction phases will be retained. This means that cars coming from Adenauerallee in the direction of Dinxperloer Straße will still be able to drive on one side of Herzogstraße. In order to avoid traffic jams on Markgrafenstrasse / Dinxperloer Strasse, the Dinxperloer Strasse / Herzogstrasse entrance will remain closed.

The bus stop located in the construction area will be relocated to the corner of Markgrafenstraße 13 / Herzogstraße.

Bicycle traffic will be maintained in both directions despite the construction site.

People who know the area are advised to avoid the construction site.
