Public bike tour with guide
to Megchelen in the Netherlands to the "Moezeköttel" and the country estate "Huis Landfort"
This cycle tour takes you across the border to the Dutch town of Megchelen in the province of Gelderland.
You will cycle on a German-Dutch history tour past a picturesque windmill, through idyllic landscapes and along traditional farmhouses to Megchelen to the "Moezeköttel" and the beautiful country estate "Huis Landfort. Learn more about the significance of the "Moezeköttel" - a restored emergency shelter from the post-war period that offers an insight into the past and enjoy the fascinating landscape of this border region.
With your own bike, the cycle tour starts at the TSV Bocholt car park at Hemdener Weg 163 in Bocholt and ends back at the starting point after around five hours and around 50 kilometres.
Participation is at your own risk and wearing a cycle helmet is recommended. Participants should bring their own drinks and snacks for breaks. There will also be a break stop with tasting at cost price.
Registration is essential due to the limited number of participants.
