New public nature tour
The Bocholt Tourist Information Centre is offering a nature excursion as a public guided tour for the first time. On Friday afternoon, 28 March 2025, all nature and bird enthusiasts young and old are cordially invited to join nature guide Stefan Leiding to explore the diverse local birdlife at Bocholter Aasee.
Participants will have the opportunity to observe various species of ducks and perhaps even spot the colourful kingfisher. The area surrounding the Aasee offers ideal breeding opportunities for many bird species. During this expedition, visitors will learn about the different species and their behaviour. In addition to observing the birds, attention is also paid to their voices.
The event is aimed at all age groups and is suitable for families with children as well as individuals. No previous knowledge is required - everyone is welcome to take part in this exciting journey of discovery.
Registration is essential due to the limited number of participants.
