Fit through the winter: Walking tour through Bocholt city centre

Thursday, 3 February 2022, at 10 am from "Zukunftsbüro" Nordstraße

"Moving Bocholt", this is the slogan under which the open sporting offer of guided walking tours through the city centre will continue in 2022 as part of the "Future City" project. On the first Thursday of each month, moderate brisk walking or walking is the order of the day, with or without poles, supplemented by exercise sessions at various city centre locations and squares.

The next walking tour will take place on Thursday, 3 February 2022. The meeting and starting point is the Zukunftsbüro (Nordstraße 49) from 10 am. Participation in this open fitness programme is free of charge and is primarily aimed at the more mature generation.

The aim of the offer is to change the perspective on the urban structures of Bocholt's city centre and its perception in order to focus more on it as a residential and living space with suitable exercise opportunities. The city centre is not just a shopping and dining area, but also offers many opportunities to do something for your own health. "You just have to take advantage of them and recognise them", explains Marie-Luise Klein, who organises the sporting activities.

For registration and information, call 02871 2048 429 or e-mail zukunftsstadt(at)bocholt(dot)de.

The event is organised by the "Zukunftsstadt" project in cooperation with the "Leben-im-Alter" association.
