City seeks private housing for war displaced persons

The city of Bocholt is asking Bocholt residents to make flats available for the accommodation of war displaced persons from Ukraine. There is currently an increased need for accommodation.
Lockable accommodation units are ideal in order to provide privacy for people seeking help who have fled the war zone. The city administration reviews incoming offers and liaises with private providers to determine which people could be accommodated there.
Yvette Rathai from the municipal subsidiary EWIBO accepts private housing offers by calling 02871 21765-293 or emailing yrathai(at)ewibo(dot)de.
The city of Bocholt is delighted with the great willingness of many Bocholt residents to help and would like to express its sincere thanks. In addition to the legally regulated support services, civic engagement is an important pillar in supporting people displaced by the war.
