Borken district to become more digital

The municipalities in the Borken district are to become more digital. Under the title "Smarter Kreis Borken", the Borken district's economic development agency has launched a citizen participation programme. The city of Bocholt is supporting this campaign. Bocholt citizens can submit ideas and suggestions on an online portal.

The portal can be accessed at www.wfg-borken.de/buergerbeteiligung.

"How can digital technology be utilised for the city and its citizens? Examples include digital town entrance signs, bike and car sharing, fill level measurement for rubbish bins, a digital coach and much more. The public survey will run until 11 December.
