Winter podium of the music school

On Sunday, December 11, 2022, a podium for singing will take place at 5 p.m. in the Alte Molkerei, Wertherstr. 12 in Bocholt. Young people and adults interpret well-known songs there. Admission is at 16:30. Admission is free.

As a prelude to the winter, the singing podium of the music school will take place again this year under the direction of singing teacher Christa Warnke. Songs and carols from the singing lessons and from various projects of the music school Bocholt-Isselburg will be brought to the stage.

"The program is also winter Christmas, but includes above all many pop songs," Christa Warnke looks forward to the event. Schoolchildren from the Mariengymnasium will be taking part for the first time. The choir set up there in cooperation with the music school has rehearsed, among other things, their favorite song "Blurry eyes" by Michael Patrick Kelly.

The music school's youth choir "Young Voices" is involved with "Otherside" by the Red Hot Chili Peppers and Grönemeyer's song "Sie mag Musik nur, wenn sie laut ist". Singers of the "Singwerkstatt", also a new offer of the music school, present "City of stars" from La La Land and a Christmas song "Mary did you know?" from Budy Greene 1991.

Finally, everyone sings a Christmas canon together with the participation of the audience.
