FW Bocholt: Rescue helicopter lands on the lawn of the Bahia swimming pool

On Sunday afternoon at around 4:10 p.m., an accident occurred in the city of Bocholt at the Bahia swimming pool in which a person suffered serious injuries. Due to the serious injuries, the ambulance of the Bocholt fire brigade immediately requested the emergency doctor and a rescue helicopter for transport to a special clinic.

The helicopter was to land in the area of the Bahia swimming pool, so the police closed the Hemdener Weg area to traffic. After the pilot assessed the situation, he decided to land on the meadow in front of the Bahia swimming pool. Police officers secured the area and the rescue service handed the patient over to the rescue helicopter. The helicopter then flew the patient to a special clinic in the Ruhr area.
