At 1:00 p.m., the fire and rescue services of the city of Bocholt were alerted to a cellar fire in Schwartzstraße.
There was a fire in the cellar of a house in which two families lived. All residents were able to leave the house before the fire brigade arrived. They were attended to by the ambulance service, but were uninjured.
The fire brigade extinguished the fire and cleared the house of smoke.
The fire brigade and rescue service were on the scene with a total of four vehicles and twelve emergency personnel.
