First-time voters at "Speed Cooking"

Untitled

One week before the European elections, the jusina e.V. association organised the "Speed-cooking" project for first-time voters. Young politicians held discussions with the participants. The Bocholt comprehensive school provided the kitchen.

Four youth organisations were represented at the speed cooking event: Young Greens, Young Liberals, Jusos and Junge Union. The young politicians prepared delicious dishes under the guidance of staff from Jusina e.V. Bocholt and discussed the topics of the upcoming European elections with interested young people.

The event took place in the kitchen of the comprehensive school with more than 20 participants.

"It is a good sign when young people get politically involved and take the time on a beautiful Saturday afternoon to discuss various topics, including European issues", said Sonja Wießmeier from EUROPE DIRECT Bocholt.

The event was organised in cooperation between jusina e.V., VHS Bocholt and EUROPE DIRECT Bocholt.
